  • Is there a setup fee for using Workable?

    No, there is no setup fee and no training fee to use Workable. The prices listed here show the cost per month or per year.

  • What is an 'Active job'?

    A job is 'active' in Workable when it’s live on job boards (and/or your careers site) or open for internal use. The full set of Workable’s applicant tracking features are available for all active jobs, including the candidate pipeline and profiles, team schedules and communication, referrals, the job mailbox and more.

    When you’ve found the right candidate for a job, archive the job in Workable. Archived jobs do not count towards your 'active' quota.

  • Should I choose a monthly or annual plan?

    Monthly plans can be paused and reactivated.

    If you’re hiring seasonally or having a sudden growth spurt, a monthly plan is a good choice; you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. You can also pause your account and reactivate it when you need it – we’ll keep your data secure and untouched until you return.


    Annual plans are billed up front and include 12 months for the price of 10.

    If you have a good idea of the number of people you’ll be hiring across the year, then an annual plan is for you. Upgrade an annual plan at any time during your subscription or downgrade when your current subscription expires.

  • Do different plans have different features?

    No, every plan has access to the full set of features within Workable. The only differences between the plans are active jobs, number of users, and level of support.

  • What’s the difference between the levels of support?

    Standard support: a member of our support team will get back to you within 24 hours to answer any questions.


    Priority support: a dedicated team member will be on hand to answer your questions within 3 hours.


    Dedicated account manager: priority access to the support team and an account manager as a single point of contact for additional guidance.

  • How does the free trial work?

    The Workable trial is free for 15 days. There’s no obligation, no downloads and no credit card required. If you sign up today, you can start using Workable’s recruiting software straight away. Create a job description and post it to multiple job boards, use the applicant tracking system to manage applicants as they arrive, schedule interviews and track feedback. Once the trial period is over, choose the plan that suits you best.

  • What happens at the end of the free trial?

    After 15 days you’ll receive an email explaining that the trial is over. Choose a plan to continue using Workable’s recruiting and hiring software – the account created during the trial will become your permanent account, complete with any information you’ve added so far.

Workable takes care of the entire hiring flow, from sourcing right through to hiring. It makes it easier to do more, quicker... I'd guess Workable saves us 40 hours a month of admin.
